One of our Easter traditions at Grace is an Egg hunt on the parish lawn held in between the two services on Easter Sunday. Here's how you can help:
Please donate filled plastic eggs! Pick up a dozen or more plastic eggs and fill them with one or two wrapped Easter Treats and drop them off at Church for hiding on Sunday morning. (We usually purchase individually wrapped miniature candies like Chocolate kisses and put one or two in each egg.) Look for the yellow IKEA bag on the counter in the hallway between the Sanctuary and Parish Hall and drop your eggs in there. Eggs must be delivered by 8:00 am on Easter Sunday morning (consider bringing them with you if you attend any of the other Holy Week services earlier in the week!)
Help hide the eggs! Eggs will be hidden in the Garden and on the lawn on Sunday morning. Please consider joining us at 8:30 on Sunday morning to hide the eggs - this is a great job for older siblings!
Egg Hunt Details:
All children, including Schola, attending either service on Sunday are welcome to join us! (Dennis and Nicci will bring the Schola children down after they have robed and we won't start without them!)
Please bring your own Easter basket or small bag for collection and meet us by the Church's front entrance.
While egg hunting is generally limited to children aged 12 and younger, all friends and family who are young at heart are welcome to join us for this wonderful event!
