Teachers and leaders of all kinds are invited to a retreat at Grace Episcopal Church, Oak Park, IL on Saturday, October 27, 2018 to be fed and supported, to feed each other with the food of community and to enjoy the gifts of creativity and ideas. The workshop will offer scripture, word, silence, movement, smell, art, hearing and doing.  We are offering this time as a way to feed and thank you for the ways you nurture those you work with.


Schedule for Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018

  • Noon-1 pm      Gather in Parish Hall for meet and greet and a soup and bread lunch
  • 1-4 pm              Retreat
  • 4-4:20 pm        Optional:  Evening Prayer


Our facilitator with be the Rev. Marylen Marty-Gentile, a minister ordained in the United Church of Christ. Marylen worked for 24 years in Christian Education at First United Church of Oak Park, teaching and leading children, youth and adults as a volunteer, staff member and associate pastor.
