About Jacob
Jacob’s music training began at the Steckman Studio in Oak Park, where he studied piano. He went on to study the harpsichord under Charlotte Mattax Moersch, as well as musicology, and ethnomusicology at the University of Illinois. He has been active in several Episcopal churches’ choral programs as well as the Kapelle Choir at Concordia University Chicago. Jacob has also performed with Handel Week, Inc., an organization founded for the popularization of Handel’s music, and has also served on its board. Today he is a freelance musician.
